Assistant Special Agent in Charge (ASAC) Rachel A. Cartwright oversees the FBI New York Field Office’s Financial Crime Branch. ASAC Cartwright oversees investigations related to complex financial fraud, securities and commodities fraud, corporate and investment fraud, and frauds and swindles. ASAC Cartwright works closely with regulatory partners at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Commodities Future Trading Commission (CFTC), and other Federal, State and Local agencies.

ASAC Cartwright served as an Evidence Response Team member for the NYFO, as well as a Legal Advisor. Prior to the FBI, ASAC Cartwright was an attorney for seven years and served as Senior Corporation Counsel for the NYC Law Department.
