Dirk heads the Anti-Fraud Consultant Department at RISK IDENT. Originally a banker building up the credit department in one of the first online banks, he studied risk, governance and compliance before specialising in fighting fraud.

His experience includes large-scale consultancy projects for banks, the payment industry and eCommerce corporations in multiple European countries for more than 20 years. He is one of the initiators of the German fraud pool solutions for banks, has developed products around fraud prevention in B2C and B2B for various companies, leads roundtables for professional exchange and is always looking for new solutions to tackle fraud.

His credo: fraud prevention is not an area of competition.
