With over 14 years of senior experience in Regulatory Compliance, AML, and Compliance Monitoring/Audit, I have worked across Banking, MiFID trading, and crypto-asset services. I have hands-on experience supporting the licensing process for MiFID and MiCA in both the Netherlands and the UK, and I bring deep expertise in EU, UK, and Dutch financial regulation. I hold an Advanced Master LL.M. in Financial Law from Leiden University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Governance, Risk and Compliance from the ICA and the University of Manchester. I am CAMS certified and experienced in designing and assessing AML frameworks. In addition, I have board-level experience as a member of Stichting Bitvavo Payments, supporting governance, oversight, and regulatory engagement.
