A former Maybank’s scholar, Farhan is a qualified lawyer with extensive experience in compliance, legal and human capital as well as significant exposure to global regulatory developments.

She began her career as a corporate lawyer at a leading law firm before joining Maybank Group in 2011. She has held various leadership roles in Maybank Group including international assignments in London and New York.

In additional to her current role as Chief Audit Executive, Farhan also serves as a board member of Maybank Securities London since December 2019. A champion of empowering women talents, Farhan has been appointed as DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Allies, Women Council as well as Maybank Mentor for Future Leaders.

Prior to this role, Farhan was a Chief Compliance Office for Maybank Investment Banking Group and Maybank Asset Management Group with responsibility to oversee thirteen operating entities.
