Friedrich is the founder of OpenSanctions, an open-source risk database that integrates sanctions, regulatory and PEP watchlists from hundreds of sources. He previously led the data team at OCCRP, working with investigative reporters from around the world to track money laundering, transnational corruption and offshore finance.
