Ilze Znotina
Ilze Znotiņa is a lawyer and strategic advisor specialising in governance, financial crime, sanctions, critical infrastructure resilience and hybrid threats. Over more than 25 years, she has held senior leadership positions across the public, private, international and academic sectors. She previously served as Head of Latvia's Financial Intelligence Unit, leading the country's AML/CFT reforms and representing Latvia in FATF and MONEYVAL, and later as a Member of the Management Board of Latvia's electricity transmission system operator, overseeing legal, compliance, risk and regulatory affairs, including the Baltic electricity synchronisation with Continental Europe. Ilze is the founder of RIZEN Riga, an advisory firm helping organisations transform risk into enduring resilience through governance, resilience and security expertise. She also serves as an independent Non-Executive Director of RT Bank (Iraq), chairs its Financial Crime Committee, is a member of NATO's Hybrid Threat Expert Group, and advises governments and international organisations on resilience, financial crime and security.
