Joe has spent 15 years working across the full spectrum of fraud risk, from first line card fraud strategy at Santander to second line oversight roles at Nordea and Revolut. In his current role he oversees fraud risk governance across Revolut's regulated entities and geographies, with a particular focus on detection model challenge, APP fraud, account takeover, and the regulatory frameworks shaping how the industry responds to scams.

Having seen fraud from both the strategy desk and the oversight seat, Joe is a vocal champion of better cross-industry data sharing and the responsible use of AI in fraud prevention, arguing that the signals to stop fraud often already exist, they just sit in the wrong places.
