Melanie Knight is head of department for financial crime policy and strategy within the FCA. She is also head of OPBAS (the Office for Professional Body Anti-Money Laundering Supervision). Melanie has worked in various financial crime roles in both government and regulation for over ten years, including as a FATF assessor. Previously she has worked in government in both HMT and FCDO.
