Robert Parrish is a co-founder of Acorda, the network where banks share fraud signals with each other in real time.

Rob and his co-founders, Jhamat Mahbubani and Sam Kelsey, spent three years leading Monzo's scam prevention team, building the machine learning models that decide which payments to stop. Here they found an innovative way to greatly improve scam detection rates, by exchanging signals between the sender and receiver of the payment.

They left Monzo in 2026 to build Acorda: a secure network where banks and payment firms exchange those signals and prevent scams before the money moves
