Scott Co-Founded CI-ISAC Australia in 2022 after serving as the Global Intelligence Officer for FS-ISAC (2019-2022), where he led the threat intelligence fusion cell for the global financial sector in Asia Pacific. While he was a CTI SME at the Bank of America (2022-2025) he Co-Founded Critical Infrastructure-ISAC International in the Hague to support other countries to adopt the cross-sector integrated ISAC model proven in Australia. With over a decade of experience in academia, Scott’s research focused on international security, psychology, and extremism. He also taught global criminology and field research methodology at the University of Melbourne and the University of Western Australia.
Earlier in his career, Scott worked as Lead Analyst at the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) in the critical infrastructure protection directorate, where he was responsible for the banking, finance, oil, and gas sectors. He holds a PhD and a master’s in strategic studies from the Australian National University (ANU) and has published extensively in leading academic journals.
