Ute Kohl is Head of Institutional Cash Management (ICM) Financial Crime Risk Operations and Affiliate Oversight. In this role, she delivers 1LoD Financial Crime Risk Controls, has oversight over Deutsche Bank’s Affiliates using ICM products, and ensures risk management connectivity within the global franchise.

The Institutional Cash Management (ICM) Non-Financial Risk and Controls (NFRC) function protects and enables the ICM business to ensure a safer, more transparent, and a more accessible financial system. ICM NFRC achieves this by creating a robust framework to protect the financial system from illicit actors while ensuring stability of controls to deliver a sustainable product.

Ute has held various roles in transaction banking and has more than 30 years’ experience in the financial industry. Prior to her current position, she also worked as a Sales Specialist in Corporate Cash Management, led various Trade Finance projects, and acted as a Senior Risk Management Coordinator.
